What can a Dietitian & Nutritionist do for me?
Dietitians are highly skilled in translating scientific evidence about diet into practical advice, aiming to enhance people’s quality of life, improve health and disease. Unlike the ‘nutritionist’ title, dietitians are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are regulated to ensure that their clinical practice remains high standard and is up to date.
?Implementing dietary changes is a big commitment and does require a lot of willpower and pre-planning; we are able to provide the necessary support to help you reaching your goals.Penny will give you recommendations on what frequency and type of follow up appointments is required, if any.

Penny is HCPC registered and holds a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as post graduate qualifcations in obesity and weight management (MSc) and eating disorders (PGcert)
How do I book an appointment?
To book an appointment send us an email or give us a call. Before your first consultation you will be asked to fill in a nutrition and dietetics questionnaire, providing details of your diet, symptoms, health history and lifestyle, in order to enable an initial assessment to take place.
To speed up the process, you can download the questionnaire and send it on an email, otherwise we will send you a copy to fill it out.
At the consultation, additional information will be gathered from you to answer any questions raised by the questionnaire and to ensure that all information provided has been fully understood. After discussion, Penny will outline some of the possible areas to focus on to improve your health.
You will be refered to your doctor for medical tests if any areas for concern are identified during the consultation.
Penny offers appointments on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Other times may be available upon request.
